I am using Linkworth, found it to be great although I am not 100% sure about the footprint.

If someone is copying the code and editing HTML then yes but I have noticed they have some options open, presumably for less experienced users.

These Include:

File Inclusion on Website (You place a line of code on your site where you want the links to appear and they appear).

Auto Update Links (Lets you publish your links automatically in your home page or subpage by simply putting some tags within your file(s).

WordPress Plug-in (Download a plug-in for WordPress).

I would be wary of being 100% sure any links you buy not having any identifying marks.

If we buy links carefully then it will be helpful to get good traffic. Like we must buy links from websites which do not mention at their website that they are offering paid links. Some links from high pr blogs may also prove very effective for ranking and traffic.

I don’t like the whole idea of buying links. As with Cesar’s comment, good content and a proper link building strategy is a much better way to go. Buying links in my opinion is the blogging equivalent of using prostitutes.
